Bird Nest Abcess

Bird Nest Abcess is seen in

1) Tuberculosis of spine
2) Pyogenic spondylitis
3) Brucellosis of spine
4) All of the above

In the thoracic spine, there is a confined compartment around the vertebral body and the disc space, which will prevent tracking of the pus downwards. This results in collection of pus around the vertebral body, which is known as Bird Nest Abcess - radiologically
